Whilst at school, Beauty Therapy was something I always wanted to do. I trained at East Midlands College of Beauty in Derby, where I gained my major qualifications (ITEC, CIBTAC). I specialized in Aromatherapy and Make-up and then went on to further my qualifications in lots of other products and treatments.

I opened the Beauty Retreat in 2006 when I had my first child. I had been working in the Beauty industry for 20 years, working all over the country, training therapists in treatments and products. I needed to branch out by myself and put into practice the knowledge and experience that I have gained over the years.

I have tried to give the Salon a welcoming and relaxing feel, which I hope comes across to all my clients. It means a lot to me that my clients are kept happy and keep returning to me for treatments.

There are constant updates of treatments and products, which keeps myself and the Salon up to date with new developments. There are so many different treatments on the market but I like to pride myself in the ones that I have chosen.
